Located in Auckland CBD, on the corner of Mayoral Drive and Wakefield Street, the site is strategically positioned at the centre of the AUT City Campus. One block east of Queen Street, it is less than a five-minute walk to the future City Rail Link (CRL) Aotea Train Station.

The Mixed-Use Development contains 697 self-catered student apartments across two towers.

The AUT Podium will comprise a ground level fitness centre, basketball court and retail spaces. A mezzanine level will provide further fitness spaces and another retail space. The remaining podium space, from level 3 – 5 will be dedicated AUT space where a health and wellness centre is proposed along with administration facilities and other key student core services. Overall, the development will provide a superb integrated facility providing a range of services to students at AUT.

The development program was proposed and implemented by Development Advisory Services in 2017. Key leases, resource consents, and land acquisition were managed by DASL prior to the sale of the development to an international investor in student accommodation, Cedar Pacific – a company that owns several student accommodation facilities in Australia and NZ.

Construction is due to complete at the end of 2020 with the facility ready for students in the first semester of 2021.
