2 Davies Avenue is located in the Manukau CBD and is approximately 250 metres walking distance from the Manukau Institute of Technology’s Manukau campus. Completed in 2014 this campus caters for MIT’s growing enrolment. In 2016, MIT had a total of 6,755 EFTS. MIT have also recently committed to a new development adjacent to MIT and construction has already commenced.

The site is located in the centre of the south Auckland suburb of Manukau, 19 km south east of the Auckland CBD. Also known as Manukau City Centre, the suburb has seen significant expansion since the 1970’s becoming one of Auckland’s main town centres.  

There are several tertiary education campuses within walking distance of the site. These include the Auckland University of  Technology (AUT) South Campus, Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) Manukau City Campus and the New Zealand Institute of Education.

The site is extremely well connected with Manukau  transport hub under five minutes walk to the south. This provides multiple bus services and direct rail links to Auckland CBD. The southern and Southwestern motorways are only 1 km from the site whilst Auckland Airport is 9 km to the west. 

The faculty is designed in 4 buildings and approximately 386 studio apartments each containing an ensuite bathroom and study configuration.
